The establishment of the Faculty of Law is one of the most exciting developments in legal education in Asia in many years. While remaining an essentially Hong Kong institution, we enjoy close relations with professional organizations and centres of legal learning in the international community. We bring the Common Law and Chinese law systems together with other legal traditions to promote justice and safeguard the rule of law. Our students are encouraged to develop a deep understanding of legal practice and theory. Our graduates will possess the intellectual and lawyering skills and ethical values to become future leaders.
